We've done Christmas Eve with my mom's family (the Elkins' side) since as long as I remember. My Granny and PawPaw did it at their house until they both passed away in 1995 and it's now been passed down to our generation. I was VERY glad to have, almost, everyone here this year (we missed Joe, Aubrey and Taylor). Traditions are very strong in our family, so carrying them on to our children has been fun. It was a great night of food, games and a lot of laughter...I think my grandparents would have loved it this year with all of the GREAT-grandchildren.
