Ella Update as of Friday at 4:30 p.m......

Ella seems to be doing better although still very critical. She is staying stable which for us is good news. They have now diagnosed her with Group B Strep Meningitis and they have adjusted her antibiotics to help her fight this nasty infection. Today she has had 3 less severe seizers and has recovered more quickly from them. She has urinated which is a great sign. The doctor has told Andrea he is confident they will be taking their baby girl home, although it will probably be a month or so. Please continue to pray for the whole family and especially Ella. I will update you all again this evening. Andrea and Joe ask that you Please NOT CALL OR PHONE !!!! Thank you- Sara

PRAISE THE LORD! It is clear God is preparing Ella for great works. She has already brought us all together in faith and prayer. She has inspired many with her fighting spirit. It is so amazing what the Lord can do through the life of a child. Her story will continue be a blessing as we all watch her grow into a wonderful child of God. We love you all and continue to pray for peace and strength during the coming days. Rest while you can-- I am sure that such a spirited little girl is going to keep you very busy when she finally comes home.

Our prayers are with your family. Although we do not know you, we know of you because of Antie Sheri. We know that the Lord has a special place for Ella in your lives. In His time, not ours, we pray you will be taking your new baby girl home. With trust in Him, all things will work for His glory. God Bless and keep your family.

I become overwhelmed looking at the pictures of your dear baby; seeing the tubes and wires, I am reminded of all we went through when our firstborn. Everyone gathered around us, and prayed us through. I am blessed to be one who will pray you through and can't wait to see all God will do through this time and in Ella's precious life.
