Testimony Night

Our church, First Baptist Dallas, has asked Joe and I to share our testimony of how God has blessed us through Ella over the last 18 mos. We will be sharing at an event this coming Sunday night:

Family Thanksgiving Dinner
The entire First Baptist Dallas family is invited to a special Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, November 18 at 5:30pm in CenterStage. Join us for a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, for just $6 per person / $20 max per family. We'll share a time of worship and testimony after dinner.

We are working on giving E small sips of liquids orally...she decided she wanted the whole glass, luckily I'd already drank the liquids so she's just pretending, but isn't it adorable to watch!!

Joe put Ella in this basket on Sunday and we got the biggest kick out of watching her play in it!

I'm in Lust

I have found a new passion...kitchen stuff. My sister is a rep for Pampered Chef and I can't seem to get enough stuff. I don't know if it's because I've been cooking so much the last few years or that I now have enough space to put everything, but I love anything that helps in the kitchen. We are having a party this weekend, but it's really just an excuse for me to get to see all the new stuff and see how things work. (if you want to come to the party let me know!!) I just wanted to tell you and admit to being an addict to kitchen stuff...some people like decor and some like shoes, for me, it's new knives and dutch ovens! Here is Ella with her friend Nathan Stewart...they are a little more than a year apart, but seemed to have a good time together.

Rolling Elephant

We attended the Fall Festival tonight at First Baptist and Ella decided to roll around the gym floor in her costume. This was the happiest she was all evening. Remind us next year to just stay home with the kids and pass out candy...these carnivals are for the older kids for sure.

Curls?

People always ask where Ella gets her curls from...so here are a picture of my brother (the blonde) and myself when we were kiddos and had some curl...granted, it's not as crazy in these pictures as Ella's usually is.
