Crazy Hair

Ella's hair is getting out of control...this picture is a GREAT example.

Mitchell Christmas

Since the Mitchell's are doing Christmas in Florida this year and we can't attend we did a small one here in Dallas before they left. You will notice how much bigger Mr. Abraham is getting...and he's SO much fun to play with. (Sidenote: Having him and Ella around reminds me of what my life is about to be like in a very few short weeks....eeeek!!)

Peery/Fowler Wedding

Joe and I went to a wedding on Saturday night. Just thought we share a few picture all dressed up.

Oh, and just so you know...the floor in the play room is SUPER padded so when she falls it protects her even when she doesn't know it should hurt.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper…you can buy it in bulk and use as much or as little as you need.
2. Real tree or Artificial? Real…always real.

4. When do you take the tree down? After the first of the year…or as soon as it starts making a mess after Christmas.
5. Do you like egg nog? Yes..very much so, but only at Christmas. It seems out of place the rest of the year.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Rodney’s artichoke dip…he isn’t allowed to Christmas Eve dinner unless he shows up with it.

17. Favorite Christmas song? “Mary Did You Know”
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay in Dallas…everyone lives here. Although every other year we are supposed to go to Orlando with the Mitchells (this year we aren’t allowed to travel so close to the due date or we’d have a Florida Christmas)

Fun to Compare Pregnancies

Here are Stephanie and I with our first pregnancies. She was pregnant with Avery (I think she was 4-5 months along) and I was preggers with Ella (and I delivered in 10 days!!).

Second pregnancies are a little closer. Stephanie with Pistacio (another little girl...and that's not her real name, just what we are calling her right now) who is due towards the end of April. Here I am about 5-6 weeks from delivering William.

Wow...this makes me realize how much bigger my belly could get in the next month...holy moly.

19th Months Old and Our 1st Ear Infection

Yeah, that's our life right now. We are battling an ear infection (and mild cold). We are also still fighting with hot water heaters in our house...really people, should hot water be THAT difficult?!?!

Getting the Tree

We REALLY (okay, Andrea REALLY) wanted to continue the tradition of going to a Christmas Tree Farm and cutting down the tree and driving it home. My dad did this with us as kids and I wanted to do it with ours. For the last 2 years we have done this. We realized this year that with cold, wet conditions it probably wasn't going to be easy with a handicapped child who needs to be in her stroller. Soooo, all that to say that we went out on Saturday and picked up a tree at Home Depot. A great tree (maybe a little short now that we have it home). Ella still wasn't totally thrilled so it's probably a good thing we didn't try to make it an all day event. We'll try again next year...I see it getting more difficult here for a couple of years though.

Getting Closer

I walked in and found Ella trying to sit up:
